Returns

We hope that by providing sufficient information to you, you will be able to make the right choices and that there will be no need to return items. However mistakes happened and you have the right to cancel your order and return items to us for a period of 14 days. This includes the statutory 7 days plus, subject to conditions, an additional extended period of 7 days added by School Style.

During this period you can return items to us for refund or exchange. Outside this extended period, returns are not normally accepted and in the instances where we choose to do so we reserve the right to deduct a re-stocking charge and to recover our original P&P costs.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning goods to School Style. Items that are returned by you through the postal system and which have insufficient or no postage stamp attached will not reach us and will be returned to you by Royal Mail.

Where all items on an order are returned for refund or where deduction of the sale value of the returned items takes the residual/ net order value below our Free P&P threshold then we consider that the P&P element of your order has been completed. In this instance we will deduct the carriage charges or £1.99 (whichever is the higher) from any refund.

To qualify for a refund or exchange all goods returned must be received by us in the same condition as they were when we sent them to you, unwashed, unused, fully resaleable and in their original undamaged packaging. School Style Ltd reserves the right to deduct the cost of missing packaging, hangers etc from any refund.

This provision does not apply to garments which have been customised for your order, for example, by the addition of embroidery or in any other way made to order. In these instances we will ordinarily exchange for a different size of the same garment. Where we agree to accept items back for return that have been customised we reserve the right to deduct a re-stocking fee from any refund.

Product faults are rare as all items are checked and those that undergo embroidery are checked again. Should you want to report an item that is faulty or to return an item for exchange that is faulty you should notify us within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot normally consider an exchange once the item has been used or worn
