Ladybrook Primary School

Welcome

Ladybrook Primary is “Uniform” school. The school believes that a uniform looks smart, wears well and contributes to a feeling of belonging to the school.

The basic colours are purple, pale blue and grey. Full details of the school uniform policy can be found in the page listed in the menu to the left. Parents are also asked to purchase one of the purple book bags. This is used to protect reading books as they travel from home to school.

All children take part in Physical Education and require a pump bag containing a pair of pumps, a plain white tee shirt and a pair of plain black shorts. Trainers may only be worn for outdoor P.E. lessons. If, for religious or cultural reasons, you would prefer your child to dress in a different way for P.E., please talk to the classteacher.

For practical lessons, such as art and craft, children are advised to wear an apron or other protective clothing which are provided by school.

All items of clothing and personal belongings should be marked with your child’s name. This can save so much time and upset when things get lost.
