Next says soaring cotton costs will hit British shoppers in their pockets - Nov 10
Next has warned thst soaring cotton prices may push up the cost of clothes by more than 8% next year.
Britain's second-largest clothing retailer said yesterday that price increases in the first quarer of next year would be at the top end of its 5% to 8% range. But Lord Wolfson of Aplsey Guise, Next's cheif executive, said that the second querter, when the spring/ summer ranges will arrive on the racks could bring even steeper price rises.
